Oxfam in Vietnam is an international non-governmental organization working in the fields of rural development, disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response, civil society development, ethnic minorities, and women’s empowerment.
Oxfam in Vietnam worked together with CARE International in Vietnam and other 5 organizations to implement the Community Based Climate Change Action Grant program funded by the Australian Government. This program covered the Integrated Community-based Adaptation in the Mekong Delta (ICAM) project in An Giang and Can Tho during 2012-2015.
More recent projects include the Women’s Economic Empowerment through Agricultural Value Chain Enhancement (WEAVE) project together with SNV Vietnam, and Promoting Gender Equality in the Vietnam Labour Code (Investing in Women) project. Both are funded by the Australian Government.
