The German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, abbreviated BMZ, is a cabinet-level ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany. It funds CARE’s project to help poor ethnic minority farmers in mountainous areas increase their access to and use of climate information, thus strengthening their livelihood and resilience to climate change and climate shocks.
